A Change In Everything I thought I Knew About A DietApril 7, 2019
Over the past few weeks and months I have found that I am putting the weight back on and again struggling to keep the weight off. This is due to the fact of me falling back into old habits, such as over eating, eating at the wrong time not to mention the wrong food.
What Started this?
Like I mentioned above I have put loads of weight and I am starting to feel uncontferable but I have enough of yo-yo dieting, what I mean is being on a diet and getting to a desired weight and then stopping but only to put the weight back on again. Also there is the fact that I have been feeling really run down the last few months, but come to think of it its been since the start of the year.
This is why I started to look at diets that are going to change my lifestyle and keep me on the right path for success. I wanted to move away from the tradition diets so I started to look at low carb diets, why I hear you ask? because I am worried about the amount of sugar and carbs that I am eating.
Sugar and carbohydrates are one and the same in my book (take a look at my article on sugar & Carbs – Why they’re not good for me) this is because anytime I eat carbs I end up feeling really lethargic and grumpy, and to tell the truth I am sick of feeling like this all the time.
What’s the Solution?
After doing a lot of research and talking to a good friend who is a trainer in the fitness, I have been look at start to change my lifestyle by starting Keto Diet.
The Keto Diet if you didn’t already know is a low carb high fat diet, from what I have researched so far, at a some point your body will go into a stat of keytosis and switch over to burning fat for energy instead of sugar.
All carbohydrates that you consume are converted to sugar in the body and used for providing the body with energy.
How Am I Going To Start?
After doing a ton of research just to find out about the keyto diet I am going to start off slow, the reason is that I have not consumed high levels of fats for a very long time, I am talking years, what it must be 5-7 years that I have reduced the amount of fat in my diet, so switching this around is going to be strange.
I am a far bit sceptical with this diet as it goes agents ever diet I have been on but the proof is in the result I guess and with a far few of my friends on it and getting results it is building a strong case to try the change of lifestyle out.
